Former and present US Presidents join together to help Hatian People

It goes with out saying that the country of Haiti is going through one of the most worst times in their history right now. It is estimated that over 200,000 Haitians have died and many more are in need of medical attention. President Obama made a statement on Saturday to the Haitian people. "President Barack Obama said Saturday that America "stands united" with the Haitian people as he thanked two former presidents for agreeing to help raise billions to rebuild the Caribbean nation struck by a devastating earthquake." It is so good to see that people and countries and joining together to help each other out. "Presidents Bush and Clinton will help the American people to do their part," Obama said in a news conference in the White House garden after a meeting in the Oval Office with his two immediate predecessors. "I want to thank both of you for returning to service," Obama said. Even in the face of danger and catastrophe when nobody could communicate with each other people still found a way. people where using social sites like twitter and facebook to get the word out. I think this is a good way of using technology to help out in a time of need.
