Proposition 8
This just came out and i usually don't write about things of this nature but i wanted to get a little input on what people are thinking about this so here we go.
The California Supreme Court is just ruled on the issue of proposition 8. This proposition states that two people of the same sex can not be married. The state's top court will rule on whether to uphold or strike down Proposition 8, a constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage. The justices also will decide whether the state will continue to recognize the estimated 18,000 same-sex marriages carried out in 2008. The ruling came in and they decided to up hold Prop 8 which means no same sex marriages in California but also the 18,000 that are already married can stay married. What is your opinion on this issue?
